Use cases / VR & AR

VR & AR.

Type, click and command inside virtual and augmented reality without the mid-air keyboard.

Mid-air keyboards are awful. Trying to type a URL while floating in a virtual space with two controllers is — at best — slow and frustrating. Tap solves that.

Tap pairs as a standard Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so any VR or AR headset that accepts HID input gets a real text-entry layer the moment you put a Tap on your wrist. No mode switch. No virtual keyboard popping up on top of your application.

What it unlocks

  • Real typing in VR. Compose long messages, write code, fill in forms. Up to 80+ WPM on Tap XR.
  • AirMouse for cursor control. Move and click with hand orientation — no controller in the way.
  • Custom commands for VR apps. Map gestures to in-app shortcuts. Open menus, switch tools, fire macros.
  • Compatible with Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, Pico and any HID-capable headset.

For VR and AR, the natural choice is Tap XR — built specifically for spatial computing. Tap Strap 2 also works if you already have one.
